Twelve persons in Central Province have lost their lives after contracting the Influenza AH1N1 virus in the first three months of 2017. The total number of persons diagnosed with the Influenza AH1N1 virus over the first quarter of this year, stands at 115.

Members of the public were recently advised on several viral diseases including Dengue, influenza and a viral fever with symptoms similar to Dengue which are spreading rapidly at present.
