The Crimes Investigation Division (CID) has arrested two suspects in the Kalutara prison bus shooting case.

A man and a woman were arrested today for harbouring suspects, Police said.

Unidentified gunmen attacked a prison bus late last month.

The prison bus was taking prisoners from the Kalutara prison to the Kalutara Magistrates’ Court.

Seven people were killed in the gunfire that ensued – two prison guards were among those killed.
