Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe told Parliament yesterday that the Presidential Commission to Inquire Into Acts of Serious Fraud had completed 49 cases.
“15,599 complains were made,” the Premiers said. “1,180 were dismissed. Investigations were begun on 400, of which 49 are complete.”
The Prime Minister said the Presidential Commission was currently investigating 158 complaints.
