President Returns To Sri Lanka From IORA, State Visit To Indonesia

President Maithripala Sirisena arrived in the country last night, after attending India Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Leaders’ Summit and the first state visit to the Indonesia in 40 years.

The leaders of the two countries agreed to mutual cooperation and signed to two agreements on maritime cooperation and traditional industries. 

President Sirisena had also invited Indonesia President Joko Widodo to visit Sri Lanka. 

He had also extended an invitation for a government representative to attend Sri Lanka's Vesak celebrations in May.
