Provincial Councils and Local Government Minister Faiszer Mustapha yesterday promised a solution to the Meethotamulla garbage dumping issue.

Residents in Meethotamulla are protesting the dumping of garbage from other areas in their dump.

Local Government Minister Faiszer Mustapha said he would make arrangements to relocate the dump.

“I will put an end to the problem with the assistance of the President and the Prime Minister,” the Local Government Minister said.
