The Colombo Chief Magistrate today ordered the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) to file a charge sheet against the two arrested for hacking the Presidents’ official website.

The suspects are a 27 –year-old and a minor – a 17-year-old schoolboy from Kadugannawa.

While the 27-year-old is in remand custody, the 17-year-old schoolboy is under the supervision of the Department of Probation and Child Care Services.

The President's website was hacked into in August last year, and a message asking for Advanced Level exams to be postponed posted on the site.
