Ravi Karunanayake, the Finance Minister has once again stated that it is the former President Mahinda Rajapaksa who should go to court over the bond scam and not any of his followers.

The Minister alleged that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will be unable to prove any of his baseless allegations in a court of law.

He expressed this while addressing a media briefing held at the Finance Ministry.

Last month, Kurunegala MP, Mahinda Rajapaksa threatened to sue the Finance Ministry and Central Bank over the alleged Bond scam, saying someone committed a “major fraud” using his name.
