Criminal Investigations Department today informed the court that it is currently investigating the credit card belonging to former rugby player Wasim Thajudeen.

Former Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Anura Senanayake arrested over the murder case of Wasim Thajudeen has been further remanded till the 16th of March.

The order was issued by Colombo Additional Magistrate Jerome Trotsky.

Additional Magistrate further ordered the other suspect, former Crime OIC of the Narahenpita Police, Sumith Perera, who was granted bail last month, to appear before the court again on the 27th of April.
