Forty-two acres of land occupied by the Air Force in Keppapilau and Pilakkuduirappu will be released to its rightful owners today, Minister for Prisons Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs, D. M. Swaminathan said.

Referring to his meeting with President Sirisena on February 14, the Prisons Reform Minister said, “The President agreed to release the land. He spoke to the Army Commander who promised that the lands will be released by the end of February,” the Minister said.
