The Presidential Commission of inquiry investigating the Central Bank bond controversy has indicated it will attend the Central Bank bond auction that will be held on March 1.

The Commission has held several hearings ever since formally opening investigations last week. Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy is among those questioned.

The Presidential Commission of Inquiry was appointed on January 27, and comprises judges of the Supreme Court K.T. Chithrasiri, P.S. Jayawardena and retired Deputy Auditor General K. Velupillai.
