Ven. Kamburugamuwa Vajira Thera and four others were injured in an accident in Kadugannawa today.

Their vehicle which was parked on a slope had reversed into a 100ft drop, injuring the prelate and other passengers.   

The injured were taken to the Mawanella Base Hospital.

Mawanella Police is investigating.
