A team of representatives from Indian EXIM Bank has come to review the progress of Indian funded development projects in Sri Lanka.
They made a visit to the northern province and observed the railway line construction project in KKS , Omanthei, Palali, Talai- Mannar and Medawatchich areas. India has granted about 800 million US dollars for this railway development project. The Indian team completed their tour yesterday and met Transport Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva and several top officials of the government.
They said that India is willing to further strengthen the bilateral relationship with Sri Lanka.
