Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe met Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsein Loong last night when they stopped over in Singapore on his way home after completing the official visit in Australia.

The 2 leaders discussed with regard to the signing of free trade agreement between the two countries. They said that the agreement is to be signed within this year.

Prime Minister Wickremasinghe also invited the Singaporean counterpart to visit Sri Lanka in this year.
