A pregnant mother, who vomited inside a private bus, has been forced to clean the bus by herself at Mirigama.

The incident took place while she was travelling with her mother to attend the clinic.

The bus owner, who was working as the conductor at the time of the incident, has been forcibly kept her till the bus arrived at its destination and threatened her to clean vomit.

She had removed the carpets and washed the bus with the support of her mother and contacted the transport authority which has instructed to inform the police.

The bus owner and the driver have been arrested on charges of threatening, abducting and were later released by the Kotadeniyawa Police as they apologized to the woman.

The pregnant mother has missed the clinic due to the incident.
