Mother of two had filed a District Court injunction against a popular private hospital and the gynecologist seeking Rs. 100 million as damage.

A 23-year-old mother, who underwent a caesarian operation had cotton gauze left inside her abdomen, after the surgery was over.

Her sutures had got septic and a second surgery, was done to remove the gauze, which had stuck on to the intestinal wall and infected. It was reported patient is in a critical stage.
