Minister Rauff Hakeem became the leader of the SLMC for the 17th time at the Party’s mandatory high command meeting which gathered yesterday.
Mohamed Mansoor Cader was appointed as the General Secretary of the party. The 27th representative summit of the party was held at the BMICH. The position of president is still vacant as Hussan Ali was not ready to accept it. Minister Rauff Hakeem said that the vacancy will be filled soon. The Minister also stated that minority parties played an important role in forming the government based on good governance principals.
He stated that the new constitution, new electoral system or delimitation of local government areas should not make any injustice to any ethnic group in the country.
