A protest march by the Inter University Trade Unions has hampered traffic along the Town Hall in Colombo.

The protestors are making their way to the University Grants Commission on Ward Place.

Reports say that Borella and the Thunmulla Junction are also congested as a result of the trade union action.

The Inter University Trade Union is protesting salary irregularities.
