Former Minister Wimal Weerawansa has been further remanded until February 20.

Leader of the National Freedom Front, MP Wimal Weerawansa, and another suspect are being charged with misusing vehicles belonging to the state.

The order was issued by Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today morning.

Former Deputy Manager of the State Engineering Corporation Samantha Lokuhannadige, the second suspect in the case was also placed in remand custody until the 20th of this month and the decision regarding to his bail grant request will be issued on the 20th.
