National Freedom Front leader Wimal Weerawansa, who is in remand custody for the alleged misuse of state vehicles, filed a revision application at the Colombo High Court, seeking the overturn of the Fort Magistrate's order to remand him.
The bail application will be taken up for hearing on February 6.
Weerawansa was remanded for the alleged misuse of 40 state vehicles which he had given to his family members and party members while he was a minister of the Mahinda Rajapaksa government.
The next Magisterial court hearing will be on February 7.
