Cabinet Sub Committee to be appointed to take strict actions against rice mill owners who fail to issue paddy to the general public following purchases from the Paddy Marketing Board.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the appointment.

The proposal to appoint a Cabinet Sub Committee headed by the Subject Minister was tabled during yesterday’s Cabinet meeting.

This is regarding controlling the price of paddy in the country.
