Deputy Minister Dr. Harsha De Silva states that the government aims to make Sri Lanka the economic hub of the region while enhancing ties with countries of the Indian oceanic rim. He added that Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe who is attending the world economic forum in Davos had a string of talks with economic giants of the world to attract more investments to the country. Economic advancement has been given pride of place of the country’s agenda and such discussion would serve for a better outcome.
The Deputy Minister pointed out that the international support extended to the Sri Lankan government has been helpful to achieve development goals.
