Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday claimed that the government surrendered to all conditions put forward by the European Commission to obtain the GSP + concession.

Speaking at the National Freedom Front convention yesterday, he said that the government has agreed to the repealing of the Prevention of Terrorism Act.

Rajapaksa also claimed that the removal of GSP + concession did not harm the country's economy during his era.
