The Valuation Department officials visited the D.A. Rajapaksa memorial in Medamulana yesterday as part of the investigation on the alleged financial misappropriation during its construction under the Mahinda Rajapaksa regime.

The FCID officials were also present.

The FCID has obtained several statements in this regard including one from the former Defence and Urban Development Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

The memorial was declared open in late 2014.
