Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will hold a special meeting with SLFP provincial Chief Ministers on Sunday.

The discussion has been convened at the request of the Chief Ministers.

The meeting comes days before the January 27 rally in Nugegoda by the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna. Rajapaksa is expected to attend the rally.

The Chief Ministers are all allies of Maithripala Sirisena.
