The Colombo Today, High Court concluded evidence hearing from complainants of the case filed against Former Presidential Secretary Lalith Weeratunga and the former Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission Anusha Palpita.

Thia is regarding the case of misusing 600 million to distribute Sil material during the 2015 Presidential Election.

Colombo High Court Judge Gihan Kulatunga issued directives to commence evidence hearing from the defendants from the 14th of February.

Accordingly the written submissions will also be accepted when the case will be taken up once again on the 14th of next month.
