National Freedom Front Leader Wimal Weerawansa was arrested today by the FCID for the alleged misuse of state vehicles when he was a minister of the government of Mahinda Rajapaksa.

He appeared before the FCID today to give a statement over the alleged misuse of over 40 state vehicles.

He was arrested just over 2 hours after he arrived at the FCID today.
