National Freedom Front leader Wimal Weerawansa appeared before the FCID this morning to give a statement on the alleged misuse of state vehicles when he was a minister of the Mahinda Rajapaksa government.

He is accused of misusing over 40 state vehicles.

Weerawansa appeared before the FCID late last month after the FCID obtained a court order, alleging that he was not cooperating with the investigation.
