A special cabinet subcommittee will be appointed to look into the activities of the Ministries whether those Ministries abide and follow the guidelines and suggestions of the budget. Accordingly, the subcommittee is entrusted with the task of looking into the activities of 52 ministries in the country. 

This mechanism is implemented under the instruction of Minister Ravi Karunanayake. 

The government expects each and every ministry to follow the budget proposals without fail.
