Ajith P. Perera, Deputy Minister of Power and Renewable Energy expressed his displeasure regarding the way Faiszer Musthapha, Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government handled Delimitation Committee’s Report.

Deputy Minister pointed out that Minister should have known how to handle his own internal ministerial matters without performing a media circus.

He further emphasized United National Party's intention to hold local government election effective immediately.  

Not with holding his criticism to Minister, Deputy Minister carried out that Asoka Peiris, Head Delimitation Committee has not conducted his job properly and is working on a different political agenda.

Clashing with other members of the ‘good governance’ government has become common.
