Minister S.B. Dissanayake says the unison government has made many achievements during the last two years through many difficulties. 

Minister made these remarks while participating in a discussion programme yesterday. 

This government has to pay a big debt obtained by the Rajapaksa government. 

The current government was able to setup a new framework to overcome the debt crisis.

The minister said that the country now has the freedom of expression. 

The extremists in the past also tried to sabotage the government’s activities. 

Despite the activities by them, the people in the north like to live in reconciliation. 

People do not need to fear about the constitutional amendments, because it is not a thing which happens immediately. 

He also said that attempts of raising communalism of the extremists have failed because of the friendship developed between the communities.
