National Freedom Front leader Wimal Weerawansa could be arrested today over the alleged misuse of state vehicles, police sources said.
He appeared before the FCID for questioning today for a second day, after a court order. The FCID had obtained this court order on December 16 on the grounds that he had been uncooperative in the investigations.
The FCID have prepared a questionnaire of around 125 questions to be asked from Weerawansa and before yesterday he had answered only one fourth of it, sources said. There was a likelihood that he would be arrested following the completion of the questioning, police sources further claimed.
