special meeting between Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe and Chief Ministers of Provincial councils was held at the Temple Trees yesterday.
The objectives of the development special provisions bill were discussed on the occasion.

The chief ministers say they commend the government in policy wise for obtaining the contribution of provincial councils for national development projects.
A series of proposals is to be prepared after holding discussions with other chief ministers.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe pointed out any amendment to the bill can be made at the committee stage of the parliament.
