Pakistan's Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Sunday foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to Sri Lanka at Lahore airport and arrested two accused, Daily Times reported.
According to ANF sources, 107 heroin filled capsules were recovered during the search of baggage of two passengers leaving for Colombo through an international airline flight at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, the report said.
The heroin was estimated to be worth hundreds of thousands dollars in international market.
The ANF registered a case against the arrested drug smugglers who were identified as Hanif and Javed.
