All Water Board employees islandwide had launched a token strike in protest of slashing their bonus.

Employees of the Water Supply and Drainage Board Joint Trade Union Alliance refrained from reporting to duties in maintenance services since yesterday morning as a trade union action.

The Trade Union Alliance also stated that all water board employees would engage in a 3-hour protest movement on Monday from 9 a.m. till noon.
