South Eastern University engineering students and some of their parents surrounded the University Grants Commission today, demanding solutions to their grievances.

The students say that there is a serious shortage of lecturers in the Engineering Faculty.

They surrounded the UGC, preventing anyone from entering or leaving the premises.

The students have been protesting over the matter for several weeks.
