LiveEvents.LK was severely criticized on social media by spectators at the Enrique Iglesias Live in Colombo concert last evening for poor organizing.

Enrique Iglesias, widely regarded as the King of Latin Pop, performed at the CR & FC grounds last night as part of his ‘Sex and Love’ world tour.

Spectators complained about long queues, poor crowd control, lack of safety and the delay in the start of the show.

Some people complained that they waited standing over four and half hours for the show to begin. Meanwhile, many VIP ticket holders complained that bronze ticket holders had moved to their places.

Tickets were priced at Rs 35,000/- (VIP), 30,000/- (Platinum), 20,000/- (Gold) Rs 10,000/- (Silver) and Rs 5,000/- (Bronze).

Spectators commended Enrique for the performance, but were almost in total agreement on the poor organizing. Some demanded an apology and a refund of the tickets.

Some angry members of the crowd even went to the extent of saying that LiveEvents.LK should never organize events again.

Live Events (www.liveevents.lk) is managed by top radio DJ Shaq who is also the Chief Executive Officer, along with Kumar Sangakkara (Board Director) and Mahela Jayawardene (Board Director).
