The Sri Lanka Association of Software and Services Companies (SLASSCOM) hosted its 7th Quality Summit recently. With the theme "Quality Reimagined: Mastering the Next Wave of Evolution," this summit inspired innovation, expanded knowledge, and explored the ever-changing landscape of quality engineering and assurance.
Over the course of two days, the summit featured eight enlightening sessions, including two panel discussions each day, where both local and international speakers shared insights, strategies, and emerging trends in quality engineering. The virtual format of the event opened doors for participants from Sri Lanka and around the world and attracted over 320 participants, including professionals ranging from CXOs, Managers, Executives to interns, as well as undergraduate students from state and private universities. This diverse audience showcased the summit's relevance across different career stages and educational backgrounds.
Under the overarching theme of "Quality Reimagined," the summit explored various facets of quality assurance, addressing challenges and opportunities in today's rapidly transforming tech landscape. The summit also featured two engaging panel discussions. The first explored "AI Evolvement and Impact on Testing," while the second focused on "Navigating Your Path: Thriving in QA/QE Career Journey." The summit's expert speakers covered a range of pivotal topics, including AI in testing, generative AI, aligning quality with business goals, test designing approaches, quality standards, and more.
The event also featured exciting quiz sessions to keep participants engaged and entertained.
