The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has elected fourteen new members into its membership fold, thus strengthening its overall membership base to 537companies, which consist of national, multinational and SME sector firms.
Accordingly, Premier Natural Teas Private Limited, Mega Trend Lanka Private Limited, Alankara SKR Private Limited, Brown and CN Lanka Private Limited, CCIC South Asia Private Limited, Amana Holdings Limited, Venora International Projects Private Limited, Sierra Information Technologies Limited, Candor Equities Limited, Prima Ceylon Private Limited, Jysper Catering Equipment & Supplies Private Limited, York Street Partners Private Limited and Inventure Trims International Private Limited and Marine Transport Services Private Limited are the new firms that have been elected to the membership by the Chamber.
The new members represent a diverse number of sectors such as Tea, Shipping, Exports, Gem and Jewelry, IT and ICT, Banking, Engineering, Investment Banking and many more and they now have the opportunity to avail themselves to a range of attractive business services offered by the Ceylon Chamber.
By becoming a member of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, firms gain recognition by most Global traders for business, receives expert advice on all trade related matters, opportunity to make new business contacts with exporters, importers, service providers, manufacturers and also joint venture partners. The Chamber members also get the opportunity to have access to Government Officials, Foreign Missions, recognized International persons etc. and also be represented the Chamber Advisory Committees and the possibility of being nominated to external Committees as the Representative of the Chamber.
To become a new member of the Chamber, a firm should be in operation for at least for a period of one year, have two Chamber member companies as proposer and the seconder and those two firms should also have held the Chamber membership for not less than five years etc.
