The stage is set for the latest edition of FACETS Sri Lanka 2014, the international gem and jewellery exhibition organised by the Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Association (SLGJA) for the 24th year. This year’s event will be held from 4th - 7th September at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre. The event will be attended by over 150 stall holders including individual exhibitor pavilions from The National Gem and Jewellery Authority (NGJA) and an SME pavilion from the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB). In addition, Over a 100+ international buyer delegation will be attending the show across China, India, Myanmar, Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, USA, Russia and Germany. Stall holders from Singapore, Dubai, Myanmar and India will be participating at the event.
Gracing the opening ceremony of the FACETS Sri Lanka 2014 exhibition will be Chief Guest Susil Premajayantha - Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy, A R M Abdul Cader - Deputy Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy and Rishad Bathiudeen - Minister of Industry and Commerce. The Guest of Honour will be Dr. Claudio C Milisenda, Managing Director German Foundation for Gemstone Research (DSEF), German Gem Lab and Kenneth Scarratt, Managing Director GIA South East Asia & Director, GIA Laboratory Bangkok.
