Nishantha Ranatunga commenced his official duties as the Chairman/CEO of Mihin Lanka with an inauguration ceremony at the Mihin Lanka office in Colombo. 

The ceremony was presided over by a series of high profile officials including DrRavindaRuberu-Secretary of the Civil Aviation Authority, MrH.M.C  Nimalsiri DGCA/CEO Civil Aviation AuthorityMrPrassanaWickremasuriya Chairman Airport and Aviation and other Ministry staff..Board members and staff of Mihin Lanka and officials.

 Commenting on his new appointment at Mihin Lanka, Nishantha Ranatunga – Chairman / CEO, Mihin Lanka, stated, “It is with great pleasure that I commence my appointment as Chairman/CEO of Mihin Lanka, Mihin Lanka is fast becoming acknowledged as a quality airline service provider. The Airline Industry is a very challenging enterprise and I look forward to working with theBoard of Directors, Management Team and Staff of Mihin Lanka to secure further growth and expansion for the airline in Sri Lanka and achieve positive recognition “

 Nishantha Ranatunga’s appointment as Chairman of Mihin Lanka will make him the 4th in line of Chairman’s appointed to the company. The first being, the current Defense Secretary, Gotabaya Rajapaksa followed by Raja Edirisuriya and Nishantha Wickremasinghe.
