The upward momentum continued with the ASPI gaining 30.86 points to close at 6947.71 points, while the S&P SL20 Index closed at 3830.57 points, up 9.59 points.

The day's turnover was dominated by JKH which accounted for 54.12% of the day's total turnover of LKR 1.79bn. Foreigners closed the day in a net buying position of LKR 238.89mn compared to a net selling position of LKR 893.76mn.
