Perodua Bezza makes its debut in Sri Lanka yesterday in an event launch organised by Perodua’s official distributor, Unimo Enterprises Ltd.The Perodua Bezza satisfies EEV standards in compliance with Euro 4 regulations. A new ‘Eco Idle’ system, aerodynamic design and overall technological improvements provide a cleaner and more economical drive.
The Perodua Bezza 1.0L (automatic transmission) is priced at 3.69 million Sri Lankan Rupees.
Sri Lanka is Perodua’s largest export market to date, with a cumulative total 14,000 vehicles sold. Exports there began in 1997 with the Kancil followed in later years by the Kenari, Kelisa, and Viva. At present, the Bezza joins the Axia which itself sold 1,400 units last year. Since 1997, Perodua has exported five models to Sri Lanka – the Kancil, Kenari, Kelisa, Viva and Bezza.
