Centara Ceysands Resort and Spa in Bentota, Sri Lanka was announced winners of this year’s prestigious South Asian Travel Awards, where the resort has received three recognitions for best “Leading Beach Resort Sri Lanka”, “Leading All Inclusive Resort Sri Lanka” and “Leading Wellness & Spa Brand”, the hotel group announced Monday. 

Moreover, Centara Hotels and Resorts received two more accolades for its five-star property in Maldives – Centara Grand Island Resort and Spa Maldives, winning the best “Leading All Inclusive Resort Maldives Award” along with “Leading All Inclusive Resort South Asia Award” categories.

This year’s South Asia Travel Awards’ special gala event was held at Mount Lavinia Hotel Sri Lanka and was notable for the high quality achieved by the award nominees. The South Asian Travel Awards were presented to leading hotels and resorts, travel agents and partners in over 30 categories on Sri Lanka, Maldives and India.
