A seminar/discussion on “Ports, Shipping Industry, Current Issues and the ….Way Forward” will be held at the chamber auditorium, on Wednesday 23 July 2014 from 2.30 p.m to 5.00 p.m at the chamber auditorium No 450 D R Wijewardene Mawatha,Colombo -10

The Keynote Speaker will be  Dr Priyath B Wickrama, Chairman Sri Lanka Ports  Authority. Other Guest Speakers are  Director General  of Customs, Director General of Merchant Shipping, Ministry of Highways Ports & Shipping.

Additionally there will  be a Panel Discussion where many issues connected with the shipping industry would  be taken up  so that participants will get a better understanding of the current status of the industry. Participation –chamber  members LKR  1500/- and others LKR  2000/- Seats are limited and will be reserved on a first come first served basis.
