Ceylon Biscuits Limited (CBL), Sri Lanka's prominent local food and confectionery conglomerates in Sri Lanka recently concluded their 2013/14 Annual Distributor Convention and Sales Star Awards Ceremony, at the Eagle Lakeside Banquet and Conference Hall.

The objective of this annual event was to evaluate and appreciate the contribution of the Company’s field sales force and distributors towards the progress of the organization during the previous financial year, recognizing individuals who have been distributing CBL products for decades as well as their top sales performers.

The Company acknowledged this growth due to the achievement and contribution of the entire workforce and star sales performers.

Held under the patronage of CBL Chairman Mineka Wickeremasinghe, the colorful 2013/14 Annual Distributor Convention and Star Awards, was conducted amidst a large gathering including the Board of Directors, field sales personnel, distributors from various parts of the country, CBL Senior Managers and business partners.

Speaking at the occasion, Nandana Wickramage, Group Director and Head of Marketing and Sales said “Through CBL we have guaranteed the success of many individuals and this is truly encouraging.

Providing testimony on the benefits of the ‘Munchee Tikiri Shishyadara Students Assistance Programme’, present at the Awards Ceremony to express their gratitude were several students who have received scholarships for their education.
