Singapore Airlines, the world’s most awarded airline, together with its regional carrier – SilkAir, has launched special fare deals on Economy Class from Colombo to Singapore, Philippines (Manila, Cebu, Davao, Kalibo), Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang), Myanmar (Yangon, Mandalay), Cambodia (Siem Reap, Phnom Penh), Indonesia (Jakarta, Surabaya, Balikpapan, Manado, Medan, Palembang, Bandung, Pekanbaru, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Makassar), and Hong Kong.
The promotional fares start from Rs 43,673 per customer, inclusive of taxes and surcharges, and are on sale from now till 27 June 2014. Applicable travel period for the promotional fares is from 1 July to 30 September 2014, and registered customers to its “KrisFlyer” programme can also accrue frequent flyer miles from the promotional fares.

Customers travelling on Singapore Airlines will be able to experience “KrisWorld”, the award-winning inflight entertainment system, which caters to customers of all ages and preferences by providing a vast selection of the latest movies, music and games. A mouth-watering variety of delicacies are prepared by its world-acclaimed International Culinary Panel that will guarantee to satisfy taste buds, while the famous Singapore Girl will provide the world’s best inflight service. Customers will also get the opportunity to experience innovatively designed seats that provide ergonomic comfort and style throughout their journey with Singapore Airlines.
SilkAir recently launched its new wireless in-flight entertainment system “SilkAir Studio”, which allows customers to stream blockbuster movies, short features, as well as chart-topping music to their personal laptops and handheld devices throughout their flights. With SilkAir Studio, customers do not need to download a separate mobile app prior to boarding. This service will be provided on a complimentary basis to all customers, and is being progressively implemented on most SilkAir aircrafts by end 2014. This is the latest example of SilkAir’s commitment to quality, full-service air travel. It comes alongside service mainstays such as in-flight meals, generous 30kg baggage allowance, through check-in service, seat selection, and the KrisFlyer frequent flyer programme.

Customers traveling with Singapore Airlines and SilkAir will also be able to redeem a Changi Dollar Voucher worth S$ 20 when transiting or stopping over in Singapore Changi Airport. The voucher can be used for purchases at various retail outlets in Changi Airport, for shopping, dining and other amenities such as Lounge usage.
