An investigation has been launched regarding allegations against Sri Lankan High Commissioner to the UK, Rohitha Bogollagama, concerning his expenses, as said by Minister Vijitha Herath.

Addressing the media, the Minister clarified reports about a vehicle used by the High Commissioner, saying that it was purchased with his own funds, and that no government money was involved.
He further said that while no immediate recalls of Sri Lankan diplomats are planned, those appointed on political grounds will be reviewed and recalled in due course.
