Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasinghe has visited Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Colombo National Hospital.

Anura Kumara Dissanayake was transferred from the Ratnapura hospital to Colombo National Hospital yesterday evening when he complained of having minor chest pains after the accident.

Sources told Asian Mirror that the two leaders discussed the condition of Anura Kumara Dissnayake.

.The accident had taken place at Holipitiya on Ratnapura-Panadura road at 1.00 pm yesterday.

Eye witness reports said that the JVP leader’s vehicle had collided with a truck that was transporting sand.
