Gamini Nethicumara the owner of Slaka business at Union Place Colombo 2 was today ordered to be released on a surety bail of Rs.100,000 by Colombo Fort Magistrate for allegedly defaulting and cheating a sum of Rs.326,987 owed to a security company which provided security service to the Salaka business.
Meanwhile, Defence told Magistrate Thilina Gamage that the defaulted payment owed to the security company had been already paid by Gamini Neththikumara following a police complain lodged against him and told that he was willing to settle the matter.
However, Magistrate ordered the police to file a charge sheet against the suspect on July 21.
Meanwhile, Samantha Dilrukshana, a businessman from Pannipitiya lodged a complaint with the Colombo Fraud Bureau against Sudharma Nethicumara alleging that he had given Rs.5 million to the businesswoman who promised to pay back the money with dividends.
Although Sudharma Nethicumara is legally married to Gamini Nethicumara, the latter has already told media that they are living separately.
