Twin Blasts Hit Damascus, Casualties Reported

Two large explosions ripped through the densely populated Sayyida Zeinab District of southern Damascus this morning.

The first attack was reported after a terrorist detonated his car bomb near an apartment building in a crowded part of the Sayyida Zeinab District; several casualties were reported.

Following the suicide attack, another explosion was reported along Al-Teen Street when another car bomb was detonated near a local market.

The total number of casualties have not been confirmed; however, the local hospital has asked for citizens to donate blood due to the high number of wounded civilians.
